I'm a fan

of Miss California Carrie Prejean. Speculation is that her answer (though maybe not the most eloquent... and FYI that they have edited out the booing in this video from the audience) may have cost her the Miss USA crown on Sunday night (more reason for me to be a bigger Miss America fan), but the fact that her integrity and honest answer was more important to her speaks volumes about her character.

I agree!! I am a fan. She stood up for what she believed in, that should count.

I didn't hear any booing, but I do have to say that I now greatly admire Miss California for sticking up for what she felt was right, and what she had been taught, even when the pressure must have been enormous to do otherwise. That shows a real strength of character! Good for her!

I thought it was rediculous that a question like that could even have been asked, let alone by a gay guy. Thats like letting Thomas Monson ask the contestant if they believe the church is true ya know?? Talk about awkwad! And what has the padgent come to letting a guy like Perez Hilton be a judge?

Could not agree more. And why are they asking that question anyway? Go Ms. California!
