Brant is taking me on a surpirse trip for the weekend! I have somewhat of a hunch of where we're going, but I'll just have to wait and see ...

and I only had time to grab one thing, it'd probably be my Subway points card (of course assuming that my family was ok).

I should change jobs

I was at work yesterday with the 3pm blues...and what did I receive? A text picture from Brant. I love when he can send pictures to me when he's on trips, but this one of him in Santa Barbara made me kind of me depressed realizing he was in sunny California and I had been sitting in my cube. All day long. With no windows.

Truth be told

I stumbled across this book and this book awhile back. Since it seems that whenever I buy a bridal/ baby gift, someone else ends up getting them the same thing, I've decided to go this route of inspirational reading giving instead.

Design your shoe

We're getting ready to go hit the gym tonight. I'm gearing up to get myself motivated to start this nutrition/ gym program in June that will last for six months. Maybe a cool pair of kicks that I can design myself would do the trick.

The 4th is my fav holiday- I get sooo stoked to be seeing patiotic stuff in stores and in the Sunday ads. I hope Jenifer doesn't mind me borrowing some ideas off her blog to celebrate the holiday.

Dutch Oven Cooking

Thanks for the campfire dinner tonight. The dutch oven peach cobbler you guys made was soo good! The only regret was having a camera with no batteries- this picture of Brant was the only one I got before the camera shut down on me!

Tuachan

Les Miserables will be performed at Tuachan starting in June and running throughout the summer. We're planning on going down to St.George sometime in June to watch.

Card Club Tomorrow

We have Card Club tomorrow. We each bring 5 cards that we made on our own, and then exchange them with the others that come to card club while the hostess will teach a new technique on card making. I'm not even a little bit creative and have to copy ideas off the person sitting next to me instead of thinking of my own.

New Favorite Thing

I discovered these yesterday at Costco. They've been in our freezer for barely over a day and I've already had 4 or so. And for sure will be eating one before the night is over. Oh, and only 100 calories per bar!

Check out this sweet thang

Oh, yes. I bought this yesterday and gave it a test ride to work and back (2.7 miles one way). I think I'll be riding to work more often now that we've (finally) got good weather.

Tomahawk Chop

I took a week off of work and we headed down to Georgia to visit the fam. I was THRILLED to catch a Braves game (I spent many summer days going to Braves games growing up).
